The Trilogy

Joseph's story unfolds in three acts.

From the birth of Jesus through the years that shaped him, this trilogy follows one man who was tasked with being the earthly father to the Messiah. Get ready for adventure, danger, and faith of a father who never asked for the role and never walked away from it. Three books. One journey. The story the Gospels left in the silence between the lines.

Book One — Available Now

He was chosen. He didn't ask to be.

Joseph was a carpenter. A husband. An ordinary man handed an impossible task by heaven itself; and hunted by the most powerful empire on earth.

When Herod's soldiers come for the children of Bethlehem, the puppet king does not leave loose ends. The flight into Egypt is no vacation. It is a chase that is desperate, dangerous, and driven by one man's refusal to let heaven down.

Protecting the Messiah enters the years the Gospels pass over: the fear, the faith, and the grit of a father protecting what God has placed in his hands. Historical fiction rooted in Scripture, shaped by adventure and the hardship of the ancient world.

This is the story you didn't know was missing.

Book Two — Coming Soon

The running is over. Now comes something harder.

In the quiet years of Christ's childhood, Joseph and Mary settle into the rhythms of ordinary life in a small town, a carpenter's workshop and the work of raising a son who is unlike any child who has ever lived. This is a story of discovery: a boy learning who he is, what he can do, and why he must hide it. And of two parents learning the same, one bewildering day at a time.

Book Three — Coming Soon

Joseph has spent a lifetime preparing Jesus for what is coming by teaching him the Law, the history, the weight of his people's expectations. A deliverer. A king. A warrior who will break Rome's grip and restore Israel to her glory.

But the young man in his workshop has other ideas.

Preparing the Messiah follows Jesus through his teenage years, the restless years, the searching years, the years when a son must become his own man. Joseph will fight to hold the shape of what he believes the Messiah must be. Jesus will stubbornly and lovingly refuse it. And underneath it, the slow, dawning recognition that the destiny Joseph has been preparing his son for is nothing like what either of them imagined.

One man. One calling. Three lifetimes of faith.

Joseph never performed a miracle. He never preached a sermon. He left no writings, no disciples, no recorded words. What he left was a son that he raised with a carpenter's hand, a father's love, and a faith that held even when it had every reason not to.

These three books are his testimony. The one the Gospels forgot to give him. Each book stands on its own. Read them in order or begin wherever you're drawn. Joseph is waiting in all three.
